BILLERICA
Kids Konnection Playground, 11 Andover Rd. Separate areas for younger and older children, some areas shaded.
Kohlrausch Park, Colson St, North Billerica. Playground, walking track.
Lampson Playground at the Peggy Hannon-Rizza Recreation Complex, 1 Ed Hayes Way. Fenced-in playground features two structures, one for older kids and another for younger kids, plus several very creative and fun climbing structures. Also a skate park, snack shack (open seasonally) and recreational fields.
Manning Park, 39 Chelmsford St (Rt. 129). Shaded sprinkler park, wooded walking trails.
Micozzi Beach Playground, 586 Middlesex Turnpike. Small playground with a sand base, shade depends on time of day. Also lake access. Note that there is a parking fee.
Pinehurst Playground, 795 Boston Rd. Small fenced playground with benches. Basketball and Wiffle ball courts. Some shade.
Vietnam Veterans Park, Treble Cove Rd. Playground, fields, walking trails. -- shaded late in the day, fenced in, one structure for age 2-5, large structure for age 5-12. Picnic tables.
CHELMSFORD
Friendship Park, 272 Old Westford Rd. Built in 2018. Shaded areas, multiple play structures, sand area, swings, zip lines, accessible features.
Harmony Adventure Park, 62 Carlisle St. Built in 2016. Several unique climbing structures, pavilion with picnic tables, baseball field. (Article updated in 2025.)
Varney Park, North Chelmsford. Playground, lake beach, baseball field.
DRACUT
Dillon McAnespie Park, 401 Nashua Rd. Park consists of basketball courts, 70' baseball diamond, tennis court, walking paths, multi-use field and playground area. Restrooms are available.
Veterans Memorial Park, 80 Broadway Rd. Sprinkler park, playground. Park includes playground, fields, restrooms, spray park and walking trails.
DUNSTABLE
Larter Field, 80 Groton St. Features sports fields and a playground.
GROTON
Christine Hanson Memorial Playground, 99 Main St. Structures for younger and older kids, baseball field, shade canopy over sandbox, swings.
Lawrence Memorial Playground, 99 Main St. Behind the Groton Library.
LITTLETON
Castle in the Trees Playground, 300 King St. New playground built in 2016. Areas for young and older children, special needs-accessible, basketball, walking/biking track, some areas are shaded.
Fay Park, Foster St. Small playground and a field.
LOWELL
Armory Park, 50 Westford St. Field, walking paths, benches, playground structure and new spray pad. Accessible.
Ben Hall-Masterson Memorial Playground, 440 Beacon St. Climbing structures, fully fenced-in, with nearby sports fields.
Callery Park, 220 B St. Newly renovated playground features rubber surface and a new safer, accessible and inclusive playground features
Crowley Park, 78 Wedge St. Newly renovated playground features rubber surface and a new safer, accessible and inclusive playground features
Ducharme Park, 1 Commonwealth Ave. Park includes a playground and basketball court
Durkin Park, 294 Chelmsford St. This newly renovated, fenced-in playground includes structures for younger and older kids and lots of engaging features. (Open to public use during non-school hours.)
Father Kirwin Park, 875 Lawrence St. Small playground with slide, spider web and other fun structures.
Fayette Street Playground, 246 Fayette St. Fenced in playground with two small structures and climbing features.
Hovey Park, 266 Aiken Ave. Accessible playground boasts a gentle slope, bridges for wheelchair access, an accessible swing, and accessible slides
Kitteredge Park, 44 Nesmith St. Newly renovated playground features rubber surface and a new safer, accessible and inclusive playground features
Koumantzelis Park, 480 Pawtucket St. Small playground, tucked away from street but not fenced in, has climbing structures, swings, basketball court, and grass to play on.
LeBlanc Park, 38 Acropolis Rd. Small playground with a playground structure, swings, and lots of green space.
McInerney Playground, 213 W London St. Neighborhood playground and park features slides, swings, monkey bars and climbing structures plus a field.
McPherson Park & Traffic Playground, 185 Hildreth St. Large playground that includes climbing structures, shaded picnic tables, fields, and a new traffic playground (bring your child's bike!). There's also a Lowell Recreation pool open during the summer months.
Monsignor Keenan Park, 95 W 6th St. Fenced in park features two playground structures, climbers, some shade and green space.
Mulligan Park, 89 Plain St. Main playground is fully fenced in and has swings and large and small climbing structures with lots of interesting features. No slides but there is an adjacent splash pad and another small playground with more unique climbing equipment.
O'Donnell Park, 1170 Gorham St. Renovated in 2025, this playground has rubber flooring and lots of climbing structures with unique features. It's officially a school playground, so it's closed to the public during school hours. There's a nearby splash pad.
Olga Nieves Playground, 40 Dublin St. Park includes greenspace and playground
Pawtucket Memorial Park, 465 West Meadow Rd. Fenced-in playground features two very large playground structures. Located at a school.
Perry Playground, 39 Dover St. Park includes playground and basketball court
Scullin Park, 50 Morey St. Several unique climbers and swings. (There is no playground structure.)
Shedd Park, 433 Rogers St -- large playground for ages 5-12 (not shaded), pavilion, large spray park, and restrooms
TEWKSBURY
Funway Park, 253 Livingston St. Fenced in playground, sports fields.
TYNGSBORO
River Front Park, 71 Frost Rd. Located into a bend in the Merrimack River, this park offers grills, picnic tables, a playground and restrooms
Wicasse Park & Field, 20 Wicasse Rd. This 8 acre park contains 3 baseball diamonds, large playground and restrooms
WESTFORD
Ronan McElligott Playground, 55 Williams Ave. For children of all abilities. Many different structures. During the summer, a beach and snack shack is open (free for Westford residents, fee for non-residents).
Patti Mason Playground at Roudenbush Community Center, 65 Main St (behind Roudenbush Center). Small playground, sand base, fenced. Closed during school hours.
Jack Walsh Field, Carlisle Rd. This small playground has a mulch base, is fenced in, and has two medium-sized climbing structures and swings. There are large playing fields nearby and a basketball court.
