Wicasse Park is a simple yet fun playground situated in the middle of three baseball fields in Tyngsboro. The playground is very clean and well-kept, and the mulched area holds two different play structures, catering to all ages.
One play structure is geared toward younger kids and has a little picnic table alongside it.
The other play structure has a great obstacle course aspect to it with rock climbing walls and monkey bars, and is geared more toward older kids.
The park is located in a quiet area set back from the street, on the far side of the baseball fields. When I brought my kids there wasn't anybody else there, but I imagine the playground to be bustling when baseball games are happening.
There are three benches located under a tree providing plenty of shade. There is a also snack shack and bathroom that are open during baseball games.
Whether you’re catching a youth baseball game or just looking for a new playground to explore, Wicasse Park is a fun yet simple park that I highly recommend!
