Crowley Park is a small, quiet, peaceful park in the Highlands section of Lowell. Renovated just last year, the park is very clean, modern, and bright. It has one play structure and a swing set, and the ground is rubber flooring, which is nice.

This park is geared more toward younger kids. The sign on the play structure states that it is suggested for ages two to five. My kids range from ages three to eleven, so I do wish there was a structure for older kids or perhaps a climbing structure, but they all still enjoyed it nonetheless.

There are three sturdy plastic swings next to the play structure. There is also a paved path in the park, and some of the other guests were using it to ride scooters and draw with chalk. There is a cool view of a large water tower right next to the park as well.

I always appreciate when a park includes learning activities, and Crowley Park has a  sign to teach kids words in both English and Spanish. There are a few interactive elements to the play structure as well including a spinning roll of animals where you can mix and match three separate part, which my son loved.

My kids and I have been here a few times this summer, and it hasn’t been crowded any time we’ve went. There are stone benches to sit on and there is plenty of shady spots in the grassy area. There is no parking lot, but you can park on the street along the stone wall surrounding the park.

If you’re looking for some fun for your little ones to get some energy out, Crowley Park is a great place to go enjoy!
