One of the unique joys of the holiday season is all of the fun and extremely impressive light displays in Greater Lowell. It's a wonderful family experience to drive around our local communities to enjoy the amazing efforts of local homeowners. Their beautiful displays are so appreciated and bring so much joy! Gather the family, warm up your car, grab some hot chocolate, turn up the Christmas music, and enjoy a cozy winter night admiring the area’s most beautifully decorated houses.
Here's a list of addresses for annual holiday light displays that we've compiled from local news groups and other resources. If you know of others or any of these are not running this year, please email me at barbarae@macaronikid.com so that I can update this article.
Note that most of these displays are off by 9 PM (sometimes earlier), especially the ones set to music, since they're located in residential neighborhoods. Some accept charity donations, so bring some cash and some non-perishable food donations.
Billerica
Billerica residents LOVE their holiday lights! I first have to acknowledge 14 Rogers Street’s incredible display that won Fox 25’s Boston Battle of The Lights! Their family has been creating amazing displays for three generations. I remember loving this house at Christmastime when I was a kid, and I'm happy that they continue to for children to enjoy today. Their award is well deserved!
