Camp Corner 2021

By Barbara Evangelista, Publisher March 3, 2021

Welcome to our Camp Corner!  Every week we'll talk about camp news and provide updated summer camp information, including any new Massachusetts camp regulations regarding Covid safety.

Camp News

Great news!  On February 25, Governor Baker announced that overnight camps in MA may open this summer.  It is important to note that:

  1. Camp and program spots will be greatly reduced, since in-person programs will have limited capacity due to social distancing requirements.
  2. In-person program costs will rise, due to reduced capacity, increased staff requirements, and the costs of special equipment and extensive and frequent cleaning.

More exciting news -- Teamworks Acton has taken over the former Marcus Lewis Day Camp site in Westford and will be running the Teamworks Adventure Camp there from June 21 to August 20.
