Updated for 2022!
Apple-picking season has started! A New England Fall wouldn't be complete without spending an afternoon picking apples, taking a hay ride and enjoying cider doughnuts. Below is a list of pick-your-own apple orchards in Greater Lowell and a bit south. (Note that we don't list orchards in the Methuen/Andover/Lawrence area -- please check out Macaroni Kid Merrimack Valley MA.)
Note: Please do not bring your dog to the orchards; they cannot allow dogs into the orchards and pumpkin fields per health regulations, so you'll have to leave your four-legged friend in the car.
