Description
The Public Health Museum, located in the Old Administration Building of Tewksbury Hospital, is dedicated to sharing the history of public health. It includes permanent and temporary exhibits focused on public health in the past, including antique medical equipment and paraphernalia. Current exhibits include the history of treating infectious diseases such as polio; treatments and practices for mental health disorders; and the history of nursing.
Docent-guided tours are by reservation only. Tours are free for Veterans/Active Military, children, Tewksbury Hospital employees/patients, and Members.
