Description
In 1775, Tewksbury militia companies gathered to march to Concord after being notified that British troops were marching through Lexington to Concord. Gather on Sunday, May 4, to commemorate Tewksbury's participation in the start of the American Revolution. The march will begin at the Town Common and proceed to the Library, following the path of the Tewksbury militia. The 2nd Massachusetts Regiment will lead the walk.
There will be refreshments and discussion at the library after the walk.
