Description
In this spooktacular, Halloween-themed robotics workshop, your builder will explore the basics of robotics while building some really creepy monsters!
While working with a partner to complete the building instructions and debug their robot's program, your student will be taught how different mechanical components work in their robots and how programming is a challenging but rewarding skill that they can master with just a little practice. We will support them in the development of their coding and building skills and inspire them with creative building activities and wicked-fun games!
Parent’s Night Out runs from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM. Drop off in our North Chelmsford facility (15 Tyngsboro Road, same complex as Zesty's and Remedium Pharmacy) and go enjoy dinner, shopping, a movie, or enjoy the peace and quiet in your house. No cleaning, though!
Participants will engage in two to three builds and other activities related to the theme during our time together. We will start with free play before transitioning to our first build.
Afterward, we'll take a quick break for dinner (pizza and drinks) and then build a second creation. We'll have time for a snack and finish with some free building or another creation (depending on time). Registration fee of $45 is for this date only and will include cheese pizza, 1 snack, and 1 drink for each participant. If there are any food allergies, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate.
