Description
Groton's annual Memorial Day observance includes a 9 AM parade stepping off from Legion Hall. It will then march down School Street to Main Street, with a stop at Fireman’s Common. The parade will then proceed up Hollis Street, with a stop at the Old Burying Ground, and continue to Veteran’s Memorial Common for a brief ceremony. Finally, the parade will march to the Mound at the Groton Cemetery where a wreath laying will take place.
