Description
Each spring the club hosts a free annual Children’s Fishing Derby, supported by funding from the club and donations from area businesses and individual members. This event is open to all children under the age of 14. Refreshments are provided and a prize drawing and a raffle are held at the end of the derby. Hundreds of children attend each year and prizes are awarded for many things including biggest and smallest fish.

Registration starts at 7:30 AM; fishing from 8-10:30 AM.
