Partners in Child Development's Early Intervention program empowers families and dramatically improves outcomes for children ages 0-3 who have developmental delays or are at risk for delays. Our services are provided at the child’s home or childcare site, at no cost to the family. We provide therapeutic interventions that are embedded in families’ daily routines and are respectful of each family’s culture and learning style. Our highly specialized and experienced staff work in multidisciplinary teams for both evaluation and therapeutic services including addressing developmental delays such as sitting up, talking, walking, eating, or playing with others as examples.
Our services are provided in a child’s natural environment (e.g., home, childcare site, playgroups, or at one of our locations.) We have offices in Chelmsford, MA and Lawrence, MA.
Early Intervention Services is one of three programs of Partners in Child Development, a nonprofit organization headquartered in Andover, MA. Our Early Intervention Services program is highly regarded in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, having provided services for children and families for more than 40 years in the Greater Lawrence catchment area serving Andover, Methuen, Lawrence and North Andover. As of July 1, 2024, we offer Early Intervention Services to children and families in the Greater Lowell catchment area that includes Billerica, Chelmsford, Dracut, Dunstable, Lowell, Tewksbury, Tyngsborough and Westford. We have bilingual and bicultural staff to support the children and families within the communities we serve.
