LET SUMMER SHINE with WESTFORD RECREATION
At Westford Recreation’s Summer Weekly Programs, kids ages 4-13 enjoy activities that relax and engage, like arts & crafts at the Nab, or swimming, fishing and s’mores at Westford’s East Boston Camps. These lively, full-week programs are led by the same Site Directors who run our popular WPC after school enrichment programs. The summer programs are further staffed by energetic counselors – high school and college age – who, like the Site Directors, are First Aid and CPR certified. Our programming focuses on fun, safety, and positivity, supporting each child as they enjoy the new connections and experiences that only summer can bring.
Westford Recreation’s affordable programs offer flexible full-week schedules, early arrival, extended day, and swim lesson options. Our summer programming also taps into Westford’s exceptional resources, which include Edwards Beach, Burge’s Pond at East Boston Camps, and the Nabnasset School with gymnasium, art room, cafeteria, game room, playground, and hiking trails. All waterfront activities are monitored by certified lifeguards specifically hired for Westford Recreation summer programs.

Summer Beach Party at Destination Exploration, ages 4-13
What better way to start and finish a sun-filled summer!
- Summer program coverage just when you need it – the last week in June and in mid-August (June dates subject to change dependent on school year snow dates).
- Easy-going days and a relaxed schedule.
Kids Club, ages 4-13
Fast-paced, fun-filled activities for children at all levels!
- Perfect summer setting inside and out.
- Small group activities for all ages.
Destination Exploration at East Boston Camps, for ages 7-13
Classic summertime activities in a classic summertime setting!
- A great natural resource and a campin’ out feel.
- Easy-going days and a relaxed schedule.
