YMCA Camp Massapoag

Camp Massapoag is nestled on 38 acres of beautiful land in Dunstable, Massachusetts. We are a traditional, outdoor summer day camp that is conveniently located on Massapoag Pond. We welcome campers ages 5 to 15, who will find a home in our villages: Peewee, Pathfinder, Poagtown, & Pioneer. Each village is home to cabins that groups will call home for the summer.

Every day at Camp Massapoag, campers enjoy activities such as archery, boating, swimming, creative arts, our low ropes course, sports & games, and much more!

Villages & Groups

5-year-olds who are entering kindergarten are placed into our small but mighty Scamper group. This group is limited to 20 campers to provide a 1:5 staff to camper ratio. Scampers must be 5 by their 1st day of camp to be eligible to attend.
Campers ages 6-11 are placed by age into 16 different co-ed groups. Groups in Pathfinder and older will have the opportunity to do 2-3 choice activities a day.
Campers ages 12-14 are placed into our Pioneer group. They will have programming that respects their age and challenges teens to be role models for younger campers. Pioneers are given additional privileges at camp, such as the Pio Overnight, and they have more choice in the activities they participate in.
Our Leader-in-Training (LIT) program is open exclusively to 15-year-olds, and it includes leadership development, hands-on learning, and an overnight adventure experience. LITs will learn vital leadership skills as role models for younger campers. Each day they will have small-group instruction on leadership and community engagement in addition to the Camp Massapoag activities they know and love. The program will take place over two separate 4-week sessions and will aim to equip teens with skills they can take into adulthood.

Massapoag has a lasting impact on its campers and staff because of our culture, our traditions, and the meaningful connections that are made here every summer. Campers leave Massapoag having built their character, self-confidence, and a desire to return next year. Our priority is to keep your child safe and to make sure that your child creates happy memories every day. Come join us for a summer of new experiences, new friendships, and fun!
