McInerney Playground is a well-maintained neighborhood park tucked away in South Lowell. It’s fully fenced in and features various play structures that appeal to all age groups.
Children can enjoy classics like slides, monkey bars, and swings. There are both belt swings and baby swings as well.
There are climbing structures and monkey bars for adventurous little ones, plus ground-level fun that includes tunnels and stepping stones.
My kids really liked the little table and tunnel area, which is perfect for imaginative play. The chain ladder climber was also a favorite.
The mulched playground is clean and there is convenient on-street parking. Visitors should note that shade is limited, however there are a few benches under a tree. Outside of the playground, there is a small green space with more spots to sit or have a picnic.
This is such a great and engaging spot for outdoor fun. We enjoyed our visit and will be back again!
