Pinehurst Playground is a small and simple but fun park in Billerica, close to the Burlington line. It’s located on a busy street (Boston Road, Route 3A) but the park itself is rarely ever crowded.
The fenced in playground has multiple climbing structures and rock walls, which my kids love. There are a couple of slides, but there aren’t any swings. There are monkey bars to swing on and stepping stones to hop on. There is a scavenger hunt listed on the side of a structure that shows pictures of objects kids can find hidden on the equipment throughout the playground.
The park is well kept and clean, and there are shady areas. There are a couple of picnic tables and trash receptacles. There is also a basketball court and a large field adjacent to the playground.
The Billerica Community Farmers Market takes place in the field on Mondays from 3-6pm. They are open from June 16th to September 29th.
