On the day of each show, stop by at 10 AM for free arts & crafts, free healthy snacks, and free children's books from Project LEARN.  At 11 AM, enjoy a free stage show (see performer list below), followed by trolley rides on the Lowell National Historical Park trolley and free lunches from Lowell Public Schools!

All the details are available online at the Lowell Summer Music Series Free Fun for Kids website.

On August 13 and August 14, enjoy the following performers:

Wednesday, August 13
Good News Gus

Singer, emcee, puppeteer, and magician — Harry and his monster friends are always the life of the party. Harry and Good News Gus has received accolades from both party-goers and professional groups alike. With young and old, Harry's high-energy interactive entertainment is sure to bring laughter, energy, and warm, fuzzy feelings!

Thursday, August 14
Mariana Iranzi

Mariana is a native of Argentina, professional bassist, children's music composer and educator graduated from Berklee College of Music. Her show is fun and educational. The assorted flavors of reggae, folk, rock, blues, bossa nova, tango and South American rhythms make the perfect blend for a multicultural recipe the entire family will enjoy.

Use "75 John St, Lowell" on your GPS to go right to the parking garage that's across the street from Boarding House Park.  Parking is only a few dollars, depending on how long you stay.

If rain or excessive heat is likely on any of the show days, the snacks and performance will be relocated to the Burgoyne Theater at the Freshman Academy at Lowell High School (John St entrance), directly across from the John Street Parking Garage.  A message will be posted by 9:00 AM on the day of the show on the Lowell Summer Music Series website with the details of any weather-related relocation.

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Lowell Cultural Council which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
