From July 9 to August 14, the Lowell Summer Music Series presents Free Fun for Kids shows at Boarding House Park, 40 French St, in Lowell. On the day of each show, stop by at 10 AM for free arts & crafts, free healthy snacks, and free children's books from Project LEARN.  At 11 AM, enjoy a free stage show (see performer list below), followed by trolley rides on the Lowell National Historical Park trolley and free lunches from Lowell Public Schools!

All the details are available online at the Lowell Summer Music Series Free Fun for Kids website.

On July 16 and 18, enjoy the following performers:

Wednesday, July 16
The Yo Yo Guy

John Higby is The Yo-Yo Guy!  He has performed his unique high-energy comedy yo-yo show in 26 countries from New Zealand to Japan, holds the world yo-yo champion title and 4 Guinness World Records. The Yo-Yo Guy is an interactive performance with yo-yos, unicycle, and a giant yo-yo that John walks on! This show is great for all ages!

Friday, July 18
Animal Craze Baby Animal Petting Zoo

The Baby Animal Farm features lambs, baby goats, piglets, chicks, ducklings, and baby bunnies. A knowledgeable attendant will introduce you to the animals and help the children to feed, brush and hold them. Our attendants will answer questions and make sure everyone including the animals are having fun! (Note that this show is on FRIDAY, not Thursday.)

Use "75 John St, Lowell" on your GPS to go right to the parking garage that's across the street from Boarding House Park.  Parking is only a few dollars, depending on how long you stay.

If rain or excessive heat is likely on any of the show days, the snacks and performance will be relocated to the Burgoyne Theater at the Freshman Academy at Lowell High School (John St entrance), directly across from the John Street Parking Garage.  A message will be posted by 9:00 AM on the day of the show on the Lowell Summer Music Series website with the details of any weather-related relocation.

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Lowell Cultural Council which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
