The Chelmsford Reading Trail program is a free summer program that provides a fun family activity centered around books. It helps prevent the "summer slide" by putting a spotlight on reading.
At each reading stop on the Trail, families will find a book to read together. The business will then stamp their Reading Trail Map, and families will work to collect stamps for all the locations on the map.
The program runs from July 1st to August 15th, 2025. At the end of the program, families who visited all stops are eligible to win one of the following prizes. Each child who completes the map will also receive a guaranteed small reward.
- A bundle of all of the PaperPie books featured in the trail
- One month of free classes and a branded water bottle from The Little Gym of Littleton
- 45 minute Barnyard Brush (for up to 5 people) from Good Pickin’ Farm
- 3 free admissions to We Rock The Spectrum - Westford
- Free passes to Einstein's Workshop
- One month of free classes at Dance New England - DNE
- Two “Gimme Three” passes from Kimball Farm’s Westford location
