Summer is right around the corner, and the City of Lowell is ready to help families cool off with the return of its popular splash pads! Starting Saturday, May 31, families can visit four splash pad locations:
- Armory Park, 50 Westford St
- Mulligan Park, 89 Plain St
- O'Donnell Park, 1170 Gorham St (see our Splash Pad Spotlight article)
- Shedd Park, 453 Rogers St (see our Playground Guide article)
The splash pads will be open on weekends only through late June. Beginning in July, they will be open daily (hours are usually 12-6 PM). Each location offers family-friendly fun that is perfect for playdates or spontaneous afternoon adventures. Don’t forget to pack towels, sunscreen, and plenty of water!
