A child’s development is marked by rapid growth from infancy up to three years old. The brain is rapidly developing and as parents, caregivers, and family members we notice the remarkable changes during these important early years.
With so much change, how does a parent or caregiver know when a child’s development may not be on track?
While each child develops at their own pace, there may be signs that indicate a developmental delay or the child being at risk of a delay in development.
Common developmental concerns may include:
Shouldn’t he be saying a few words by now?
She is not walking yet.
She hasn’t rolled over yet.
The baby next door is sitting up on her own.
My baby is not crawling.
Our Early Intervention Program provides therapeutic services for children to address the above developmental delays. Additional areas that our services address include challenges with eating, sleeping, playing, and interacting with others.
Our team of skilled specialists are dedicated and passionate about working with young children, naturally integrating our services into a family’s daily routine while providing tools and support for the family.
Concerns about a child’s development? Contact us for a FREE assessment.
If you have concerns about a child’s development and they are age three or younger, we encourage you to contact us and schedule a free assessment. It’s a simple process that includes our learning more about the child. Evaluations are scheduled promptly after a referral is made and families will know at the end of the evaluation if their child is eligible for services.
If therapeutic services are recommended, we will develop a plan for the child and schedule the appropriate specialists to provide services for the child while supporting the parents, caregivers, and family. Services are provided in a child’s natural environment including home, at childcare, or at one of our locations.
There is no direct cost for our Early Intervention Services; costs are covered by insurance or through the Department of Public Health.
