The Dolphin Swim School is designed for kids aged three years and older to learn both technique and comfort in the water, with an end goal of being completely safe in the water, and also helping kids achieve the goal of joining a competitive swim team.
Group class sessions, taught by experienced teachers, typically run between seven and nine weeks during the year. Classes are once a week for thirty minutes (with the exception of two Intermediate level classes which are 45 minutes long). Ratios are kept to a 4:1 (student/teacher) so that all students get as much time in the water as possible, regardless if they need to be held by a teacher or not. Our levels are set based not only on a child's age, but also their ability.
The Fall session begins September 3 and ends October 11. Registration is now open.
WestFit is happy to offer private swim lessons for students and adults aged six years and older. Classes are on a 1:1 ratio (Student/Teacher) and run for 30 minutes. We offer private lessons in packages of 5, 10, or 20 packs which can be easily renewed without losing the reserved day/time. This program is great for individuals who have a strong fear of the water, need extra attention, or are looking for extra training for competitive swimming, open water, triathlon or ironman competitions.
Private swim lessons are offered year-round and enrollment is ongoing. Note that adults looking to improve in the water can only sign up for private lessons.
The WestFit Dolphin Swim Team is for competitors aged 6-18 years old. The Dolphins compete in both Winter (October-March) and Summer (June-August) swim seasons against teams all over the Middlesex County area of Massachusetts. The Dolphin Swim Team is great for kids who love the sport of competitive swimming and have goals set for both the high school and college level. Our coaching staff is dedicated to making sure swimmers both improve their personal best times and also their technique in the water.
