Come learn how to design a video game, build and program robotic machines, fly drones, and create amusement parks and transportation cities in Snapology’s STEAM programs! Fall 2 2022 programs are now enrolling in North Chelmsford, and begin November 2.
At Snapology, we believe that academic enrichment, social development, and FUN can happen simultaneously. We do this by guiding children ages 5+ through purposely designed activities using LEGO® bricks, K’Nex, tablets, computers, and other favorite toys. Each of our programs is designed to provide your child with a fun, creative learning experience that will strengthen their love of engineering.
THEMED PROGRAMS:
- Jedi Masters (Tuesdays 4:15 - 5:15 PM) (Ages 5 - 10): In this Star Wars®-inspired program, your youngling will explore the galaxy with their master building skills and our intergalactically-focused curriculum. Motivated to become Jedi like the heroes in the movies, students will learn to concentrate on mastering the Force, appreciating the use of teamwork to build battle drones and AT-Walkers, and if their skills are up to par, make their very own lightsaber and use it in battle!
ROBOTICS PROGRAMS:
- Space War Robotics (Tuesdays 6:15 - 7:15 PM) (Ages 7 -12): n this Star Wars-inspired program, your padawan learner will explore the basics of robotics while digging into their favorite parts of the Star Wars movies - the machines!
- GameBots with Spike Prime (Wednesdays 5:15 - 6:10 PM) (Ages 7 - 14): Your engineer will explore the basics of robotics while playing some really awesome games with and against their classmates!
- Responsive Robotics with Cubelets® (Wednesday 6:15 - 7:10 PM) (Ages 7 - 12): Your student will begin to develop their computational thinking skills by playing with modular, robotic cubes known as Cubelets®!
- Bot Builders with Cubelets® (Wednesdays 4:15 - 5:10 PM) (Ages 4 - 6): Your student will begin to develop their computational thinking skills by playing with modular, robotic cubes known as Cubelets®!
- RoboPets (Thursdays 4:30 - 5:25 PM) (Ages 4-6): Your builder will begin their exploration into the world of robotics by building simple, animal-inspired machines that are controlled by icon-based program codes. We will teach your little learner some fundamental engineering and programming concepts.
ENGINEERING PROGRAMS:
- Scientists (Tuesdays 5:15 - 6:10 PM) (Age 6 - 11): Allow your child to cultivate their love of science and experience different domains of science & nature. Students will engage in concepts from astronomy, earth science, biology, chemistry and physics using LEGO® bricks and other interactive learning tools.
- Mining & Building - EPIC (Thursdays 5:30 - 6:25 PM) (Ages 5-11): Do you think you know everything there is to know about Minecraft® and more? In Snapology’s EPIC Minecraft®, you are going to be put to the test. Your knowledge is going to be challenged in games of crafting and creating.
