National Night Out is an annual event, started in 1984, to promote neighborhood camaraderie and police-community partnerships.
Since then, millions of people in 16,000 communities have taken part in National Night Out events such as block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts, and various other community events.
This year, National Night Out takes place in Greater Lowell the evening of Tuesday, Aug. 2.

Greater Lowell National Night Out events happening in 2022 include:
Lowell: Come join the Lowell National Night Out on Tuesday, August 2nd from 4 PM - 7 PM at Charles W Morey Elementary School. This event will feature a bouncy house, dunk tank, games, free food, raffles, music, dancing, and much more! Click here for event details.
Lowell:Join your neighbors and Lowell's first responders for a free, fun-filled evening at the Acre National Night Out on Tuesday, August 2 from 4 PM - 7PM at North Common Park . Who knows who will show up in the dunk tank! Click here for event details.
Westford: Come join National Night our presented by Westford Police Department Tuesday, August 2nd from 4 PM- 8 PM at Westford Academy Softball Field. This event will feature bounce house, food trucks, live DJ, touch-a-cruiser and DEA helicopter! Click here for event details.
Billerica: No event has been listed for 2022. Last year, Billerica held the 2021 National Night Out at Billerica Town Hall. Will update if details become available.
Tewksbury: No event has been listed for 2022. Last year, Tewksbury held the 2021 National Night out at Memorial High School. Will update if details become available.
