Our children's teachers, staff, and administrators are working extra hard these days to keep our students engaged and learning during remote instruction. If you are anything like my family, you have struggled a bit with being thrown into the "homeschool teacher role". It can be really hard to keep our kids on track while we are taking care of other kiddos, working from home, and/or going about the daily business of life. It really makes me appreciate even more what our teachers do everyday with a whole classroom of kids!
Send your teachers some love with a Macaroni Kid Shout Out, and you could win a prize for your family... or your child's whole class!
How does it work?
✏️ Fill out the Macaroni Kid Shout Out Form. Just one submission per teacher from each family, please. Shout Outs are welcome for teachers in high schools, middle schools, elementary schools, private schools and preschools/child care centers in the Lowell Macaroni Kid territory, which is Lowell, Chelmsford, Billerica, Dracut, Tewksbury, Westford, Tyngsborough, Littleton, Groton and Dunstable, but please note that only entries for elementary school teachers (Grades K-5) will be eligible for the giveaways.
💕 We will share the love and post Shout Outs on social media as often as possible over the next three weeks.
🎉 Each week for three weeks, we will randomly choose one Shout Out (using http://www.random.org ) and award them a family game, which will be shipped directly from Amazon. Winning Shout Outs will be chosen on May 20th, May 27th, and June 3rd, 2020.
📜 We will gather together all of the Shout Outs for each school and email them to the school principal each week, so that they can share the love with their teachers and staff.
🏆 On June 3rd 2020, we will randomly choose one elementary school teacher as the winner! Every student in the winning teacher's class will receive a free one-hour pass to Altitude Trampoline Park, to be used when the park re-opens. (The more Shout Outs each teacher receives, the higher their chance is to win, so submit a Shout Out today and tell all your classmates!)
Frequently Asked Questions
🍎 Who can we send a Shout Out to?
You can send a Shout Out to any teacher or staff member at any school in the Lowell Macaroni Kid territory, which is Lowell, Chelmsford, Billerica, Dracut, Tewksbury, Westford, Tyngsborough, Littleton, Groton and Dunstable. High schools, middle schools, elementary schools, private schools and preschools/child care centers too! However, only Shout Outs for elementary school teachers (Grades K-5) will be eligible for the giveaways.
🍎 How many times can I enter?
Please submit just one entry per teacher. (For example, if you have 3 children in school, each with a different teacher, you can submit three separate forms, one about each of their teachers.)
🍎 What should we say?
Tell them why you are grateful for them! Feel free to get creative and get specific! You can thank them for something they did when school was still in session, or you can send a Shout Out for something they've done during remote learning.
🍎 How will we know if we won?
We will contact you via email if you win the weekly prize, so please be sure to check that your email address is entered correctly. Once a winning teacher/class is randomly chosen, we will notify the principal so that the teacher can share the news with his or her class and information on how to claim the Altitude free jump pass.
