Mother's Day Gift Ideas When Businesses Are Closed

April 29, 2020

All I want to do this year for Mother's Day is give my Mom a hug.  She and my Dad are living in an assisted living residence in Burlington and have been on complete lockdown since early March.  Not only can we not visit them, they can't even visit with the friends they've made at their residence; everyone is confined to their apartments.  It's really hard for them, and for us.

I'm sure many of you are in a similar situation.  I put together some ideas below for ways to share our love safely and meaningfully.  (If your partner or kids are looking for ideas for you, share this list with them too!)

Be sure to follow our Facebook page this week and next for daily Mother's Day Giveaways!
