Featured Camp: Summer at Lawrence Academy - Mac Kid Readers Save 5%!

Summer at LA camps are dedicated to providing families with wholesome recreational and educational summer activities for children ages three to fifteen. The 135-acre Lawrence Academy campus located in Groton, Massachusetts provides the setting for over twenty-five different camp offerings for children.

Our LA Day program is the heart of our summer programs. LA Day is a traditional day camp for boys and girls 5 to 15 years old. Campers are able to choose their own adventure, as they create the camp experience that they want. Each two-week session of LA Day allows for campers to pick new and exciting electives throughout each day.

With new specialty tracks, our campers can focus on a specialty for half of each day, and then jump into LA Day electives for the rest of the day. Specialty tracks include:

Robotics
Cooking or Baking
Fashion Design
Art or Writing
Minecraft
Sports Programs, including soccer, basketball, volleyball, field hockey, baseball, girls and boys lacrosse.

New this year is our Build Your Own Canoe camp, where our campers will build their very own 15’ light weight canoe – perfect for paddling down your favorite water way!

We also offer different one-week Trip Adventure Camps that take our campers off campus and exploring a different adventure each day:

Outdoor Adventure: rock climbing, white water rafting, paddle boarding, kayaking and more (June 26-30)
Nature Adventure: Field trips to explore nature (July 3-7, no camp July 4)
High Adventure: High ropes course, indoor skydiving, zip lining and other adventures! (July 10-14 and August 7-11)
Water Adventure: Surfing, Water Country, sea kayaking and the beach (July 17-21)
Wilderness Adventure: hiking, sea kayaking, rock climbing and camping (July 24-August 4)
Marine Science Exploration: Explore the local coasts, whale watching and more (August 14-18)
