Halloween Candy Donation & Buy-back Programs

Not sure what to do with piles of extra or unwanted Halloween candy from trick-or-treat? There are lots of organizations looking for candy donations that not only keep candy consumption levels reasonable, but also support great causes. Schools, churches and local businesses may be collecting candy donations for charitable efforts, while nursing homes and shelters may be looking for sweet treats to share with residents to brighten their day.

You may also consider Operation Gratitude which collects and donates Halloween candy to the troops. Candy should be shipped no later than November 15th. Shipping instructions and details can be found HERE. There are also local drop-off locations -- see the list below.

Get $1 per pound for your unopened candy, up to 10 pounds.  Donate on Monday, November 4, and Tuesday, November 5.

 Get $1 per pound for your unopened candy, which will be donated to the military. Drop off on Monday 11/4 9 AM to 7 PM, Tuesday 11/5 12-9 PM, Thursday 11/7 8 Am to 5 PM, or Friday 11/8 7 AM to 4 PM.

Current patients, exchange unopened candy for a chance to win a Great Lodge Gift Card.  Non-patients may donate candy but cannot enter the drawing. Donate during office hours from November 4 to November 11.

Bring your candy to the office on November 3rd and 4th and get $1 per pound (maximum $5 per family). Candy will be donated to the Dracut Food Pantry.
