Russell Mill Swim and Tennis Club is a member-owned and operated non-profit summer club. Located in Chelmsford, MA, Russell Mill has been serving families in the area since 1947.
We welcome only 250 families per year to our club to ensure ample access to the club’s amenities. All members enjoy access to our large swimming pool with dive well, kiddie pool for children under 6, 4 illuminated tennis courts, a centrally located shaded picnic area, grills, a clubhouse for club and private functions, and ample lawn chairs for lounging around the pool. We also have a new playground, ping pong tables, corn hole, and a newly paved area for basketball and wall ball. Our pool is always staffed with certified lifeguards to help ensure your safety and the safety of your children.
During the course of the season we offer activities in the areas of swim, diving, and tennis. We have very active swim, dive and tennis teams for all ages and all team activities are included in our yearly membership. We have an end of season banquet with awards that is always a fun event for families participating in the teams. We also offer swim, dive and tennis lessons for a nominal participation fee.
We also offer occasional family and adult activities for our members to participate in. Past activities have included arts and crafts, dive-in movies, family fun day, and ladies paint night.
Our staff is trained in CPR and first aid and is always available to help with any need a member may have. Our staff works hard to maintain a well run and clean facility. The club is managed by our General Manager and overseen by a Board of Directors who are all voted in by the membership. We encourage all of our members to be active in the operations of the club because after all, it is your club!
