On those nights when you can't face cooking another dinner, it's nice to take the family out but it can be hard on your budget. There are several restaurants in the Greater Lowell area that have "Kids Eat Free" nights -- for every adult meal purchased, you receive a free kids meal. Kids meals are intended for children generally 10 and under (sometimes 12 and under, although a kids meal may leave a growing 10-year-old boy still hungry, according to my son!)
This list is current as of September 2013 and is the result of calling dozens of local restaurants, including all chain restaurants as well as large independent restaurants. Some restaurants, such as Applebees and British Beer Company, do offer "Kids Eat Free" nights at their other Massachusetts and NH locations, but not at the locations in the greater Lowell area (Lowell, Tyngsboro, Dracut, Chelmsford, Westford, Littleton, Groton, Ayer, Billerica, Tewksbury). Please note this list does not include Nashua NH, as this is not part of the Lowell Macaroni Kid territory.
