Homemade Treasure Hunt

My 7-year-old son came up with this activity last week when we were home just playing in the house. It's a great family activity that both older and younger kids can participate in.

Supplies

• A 'treasure'
• Paper
• Pen

Directions

1. Hide your treasure somewhere in the house.
2. Write out simple directions to find it.
3. Send your family on a treasure hunt!

Older children will be able to write out and follow directions on their own and younger ones can dictate as you write and can follow directions as you read them. The game can be played numerous times with directions getting trickier each time you play!
