The Creativity Can was a favorite at our recent Holiday Toy Time Party. Kids and parents crafted together and created all kinds of wonderful creatures and inventions. They loved exploring all the different textures and experimenting with different ways to put them together to create something new.
It's even a fun, ice-breaking activity for adults. We each received a Creativity Can at the recent Macaroni Kid Meet-up, and I loved taking some time to be truly creative and hands-on with all kinds of materials. Here's my crazy creation!
The Creativity Can would be a perfect half-hour activity for a birthday party, or the smaller Creativity Cans would make great party favors. The smaller Creativity Cans are themed -- Music, Critters, Art, Build, Motion, Stories.
My favorite part about the Creativity Can is that it's truly open-ended -- there are no instructions, no guides, no examples. Kids can let their imaginations soar and enjoy making all kinds of fun and crazy creations.
Creativity Cans are available at the Creativity for Kids website and at many retailers, especially independent toy shops.
