We need experienced writers to research and write articles for our weekly newsletters. Your article will be viewed by thousands of local readers; it's a great way to build your published article list for your resume.
Topics can be as varied as:
- Playground reviews with good quality photos
- A complete list of sports programs in a particular town, with contact info and dates
- Recipes or crafts with good quality photos
- Indoor or outdoor activities to do with children
- A profile of a new business that would be of interest to local families
- Entertainment ideas, such as "Spend a day in Greater Lowell with the family for under $50"
- Local family-related services
- Parenting issues such as teaching children money sense, the best apps for children, sleep tips, etc.
- Ideas to keep kids of different ages busy during the summer
Writers with previous journalism or blogging experience are preferred. Compensation per article will vary; a playground review or typical article will pay $25. Other more complex articles that require more research will have more compensation.
